Veram ltd, in partnership with Air Liquide and the Sapienza University of Rome, developed in 2009 a risk assessment method for medical gas delivery devices. This method is a combination of probabilistic criteria and malfunction analysis and is used to evaluate the devise characteristics and to direct the maintenance interventions.
Through this method it is also possible to precautionally identify those risk factors that could lead to a medical gas delivery failure.
Risk levels of these malfunctions and their effects are analysed to evaluate the risks related to each department activity.
Since 2009, Veram has used this original method in many hospitals in Central Italy that asked for our services.
